This confidential study is being offered to adult women seeking outpatient treatment for alcohol problems. Eligible participants receive 2 hours a week of free individual and/or group treatment for 9 weeks. In addition, a free medical evaluation and compensation for research interviews are included.
This is a confidential study that has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH, NIAAA) and is being conducted by the Public Health Institute’s Alcohol Research Group. The treatment is provided at New Leaf Treatment Center in Lafayette, CA.
Eligible women will be asked to participate in 4 study interviews over a 12 month period. Compensation will be offered in gift cards for each of these completed interviews, up to $180.
