Postdoctoral Fellow: Dr. Niles Zoschke, MPH, DrPH, is a public health professional with 13 years of experience in community organizing, nonprofit leadership, public health practice, and research. Dr. Zoschke is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Alcohol Research Group, part of the Public Health Institute at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Zoschke focuses on alcohol, tobacco, and opioid use, applying qualitative methods to dissemination and implementation research. Dr. Zoschke previously helped launch an innovated mobile health smoking cessation program and contributed to Project HOMES, evaluating 15 recovery residences for people using medications for opioid use disorder in Texas. At the City of St. Louis Department of Health, Dr. Zoschke developed, implemented, and evaluated an HIV prevention program for housing insecure youth and young adults. Additionally, Dr. Zoschke chaired a strategic planning committee and advanced public health initiatives within the department. Dr. Zoschke has also led strategic planning and program implementation for grassroots organizations advocating for workplace protections and disability rights. Niles’ mentor is Camillia Lui.
