EDUCATION
Jack Yeh received his PhD in Health Services and Policy Research from the Boston University School of Public Health, where his doctoral research examined alcohol outlet density, alcohol-related harms, and HIV treatment outcomes among women. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree with training in epidemiology and biostatistics.RESEARCH FOCUS
Jack’s research focuses on alcohol epidemiology and alcohol policy, with particular emphasis on structural and environmental determinants of alcohol-related health outcomes. His work examines alcohol availability, pricing and taxation, and neighborhood contexts, and how these factors shape alcohol use, health inequities, and chronic disease outcomes. He has additional research interests in alcohol-related harms to others, alcohol-attributable cancer risk, and the intersection of substance use with HIV care and treatment engagement. Across projects, Jack applies causal inference methods and policy-relevant analytic approaches to inform prevention strategies and population-level interventions.
