Randy Dillard, MPH, PPSC received a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from St. John’s University and his MSW from USC. In 2017, Randy joined the research team at the Roybal Institute on Aging as a research assistant charged with interviewing first responders of the Los Angeles City Fire Department and older adult residents of Los Angeles who requested EMR Services. Since 2018, Randy has been working in the Division of Research at Kaiser Permanente as a field interviewer on the Study of Healthy Aging in African Americans (STAR) as well as Kaiser Health and Aging and Diverse Life Experiences Study (KHANDLE). His passion includes using research to better understand social disparities that will improve the quality of life for those most in need and how to bring forth the best quality of life for the least fortunate. Randy currently supports fieldwork on the NSTARR parent study and COVID supplement projects.
