Debra Jan Bibel, Ph.D. Background Information and Areas of Research jbibel@arg.org
Bibel earned both her A.B. and Ph.D. in medical microbiology and immunology from the University of California at Berkeley. After a diverse career of 30 years in basic and clinical research in cutaneous microbial ecology and in biomedical communications at Letterman Army Institute of Research, University of California at San Francisco, and various industrial settings, she is now part of the ARG staff specializing in communications and administrative support. As Communications Coordinator, she is copy editor for scientific publications, web master of both the ARG internet and intranet sites, scientific poster graphic artist, and newsletter designer and Managing Editor. Her other hat is that of Executive Associate to the Director of the National Alcohol Research Center.
